Mini Voleybol in Primary School

“Mini Volleyball in the Primary School” project contemplated by Ministry of National Education, the Turkish Volleyball Association and Aroma Aroma that is everyday increasing its support to the Turkish volleyball this time put signature to a dissemination project that shall address to YIBO and the primary schools in cooperation with the Turkish Volleyball Association and Ministry of National Education. The project was introduced by a press conference that was held in Swiss Hotel, Istanbul on Friday the 27th day of March. Mr.Erol Unal Karabiyik, Chairman of Volleyball Association, participating in the meeting, said “Basic objective of the project “Mini Volleyball in the Primary School” is to transform our volleyball into a sport exercisable anytime and anywhere in cooperation with Aroma and in support of our Ministry of National Education. I feel happiness to see this time again Aroma taking sides with volleyball as it was every time, in our all social project.” Mr.Mahmut Atom Duruk, Deputy-Chairman of Directors Board and Managing Director, said “The Turkish Volleyball Association makes many efforts for disseminating in general volleyball and sportive values with the Turkish youth. All projects that were mentioned by Mr.Erol Unal Karabiyik, our esteemed Chairman, give high pleasure with us as the main sponsor of the Turkish Volleyball Leagues. We as Aroma are actually experiencing the honour of practically participating in this project, contacting with our youth by the help of sport and contributing values that may be used in their future life”. At the end of protocol acted by the Turkish Volleyball Association in association with the Ministry of National Education, games of “Mini Volleyball” shall be played under festival status for years 1, 2 and 3 and under rules of “Competitive Mini Volleyball” for years 4 and 5. On account of this movement, millions of pupil in the primary school shall introduce with volleyball sport under supervision of the Turkish Volleyball Association and with the contributions of Aroma and shall discover joyful aspect of volleyball. For this intention, at the first step, portative mini volleyball game set (net, plastic pole, tensioning and plastic weight apparatus that shall carry poles) shall be delivered with 750 schools and training materials (CD, books etc.) shall be delivered with teachers and students. Within the next 4 years, 200.000 pcs. of volleyball ball and a number of portative mini volleyball game set and training material shall be forwarded with our schools. Mini Volleyball movement shall be not only limited to this move. The Turkish Volleyball Association, in line with the project to disseminate volleyball, shall confer certificate of volleyball training with no.10.000 physical education teachers after completion of volleyball training courses and this shall enable pupils in the primary school to easily access to any training to become a licensed volleyball player. This project shall offer opportunity every year with at least 100.000 pupils in the primary school to became a licensed volleyball player. Further to all these moves, Aroma proved that it was constant on not allowing any school in Turkish territory to be without volleyball by virtue of many attempts that were performed in collaboration with the Volleyball Association. And forwarding with no.2000 schools of volleyball set (pole set, net, 3 pcs. of ball) that was realised under this context was consummated in the recent days. Aroma is every time supportive of the Turkish sport and the Turkish Volleyball and it encloses its this feature with sportive education voluntariness and it continues to advance decisive steps for enabling the Turkish youth to have more opportunities than ever.
