Its fresh tea leaves are comprising phenol substances in the level of 35-38 % on basis of dry weight. Researches made in the last years are focused on the antioxydant effect of phenolic compounds. Apple juice is well-known for containing a lot of phenolic compounds, playing an active role in the protection, development of health and in preventing the chronic diseases dependant upon diet.
“Quercetin” covered by apple juice and other antioxydant compounds have potential preventing cells from damages.
