“Kids Mini Volleyball Turkey Championship” is held in Turkey for the first time between May 25-29 2010 within the context of “Mini Volleyball Project” executed by Turkish Volleyball Federation and Ministry of National Education with the support of Aroma. Within the context of the project, festivals were organized in 81 provinces last year with the distribution of mini volleyball kits for the first time and the participating kids had the chance to play volleyball all day long. This year, “Kids Mini Volleyball Turkey Championship” is held for the first time with the participation of 8 girls teams and 8 boys teams which advanced to the finals at the festivals performed at the provinces. Students born in 98-99 can participate in the organization which is not only performed to compete but to enable the students to get to know and like volleyball and learn while having fun. This important organization during which the Turkish champions in girls and boys categories will be determined as a result of the contests which will be performed for the duration of 5 days will be hosted by the province of Karaman. 1345 physical education teachers in the schools which attend the championship received the mini volleyball training and educated their students within the frame of this guidance. Furthermore, the Ministry of National Education has sent a total of 2035 mini volleyball kits to the schools in 81 provinces with the contribution of Turkish Volleyball Federation and Aroma from commencement day of the project upto the present day.
